David Gibson – Owner

Joined the team: Spring 1997

David started his career as a lawn applicator in 1989 and served as a spray technician for a national franchise prior to becoming an entrepreneur, with the start of Ultra-Lawn, in 1997.  David is responsible for all employee management duties while serving as our chief landscape estimator.

Holding an Idaho Applicators License since 1993, Dave can also occasionally be found spraying both trees and lawns.  A Sandpoint native and Army National Guard Veteran, David enjoys restoring classic vehicles. He and his wife Linda reside in Post Falls and have two sons.


Linda Gibson – COO/CFO/Risk Management

Joined the team: January 2003

Linda, an Illinois native with a banking and business background, “officially” joined Ultra-Lawn in 2003.

Serving as our CFO/COO, Linda is responsible for all financial aspects of the office including A/R, A/P, and payroll as well as benefits administration and advertising campaigns.

Linda has served many terms on the North Idaho Building Contractors Association board of directors and most recently served two terms as the non-profit’s treasurer.  Linda also volunteer’s annually for the North Idaho Habitat for Humanity “Women’s Build”, is a member of the Coeur d’Alene Kiwani’s Club, and previously served two terms as sitting Vice-President of the Post Falls Historical Society & Museum and continues to be in good standing.

Adam Johnson – Salesman and Estimator

Joined the team: Spring 2017

Since 2005, Adam Johnson has called North Idaho home and we welcomed him to the Ultra-Lawn sales team in the spring of 2017.  Adam will serve both new and existing customers and will do estimates for the lawn maintenance and landscape installation divisions.  While not on the job, Adam volunteers for Post Falls Park & Recreation and is very involved with his son Michael’s soccer team, the Post Falls Inferno.  As a North Dakota native, Adam enjoys big game hunting and camping and is often seen in a local marathon.


Ron Gross – Spray Tech Supervisor; Snow Plow Driver

Joined the team: January 1997

Ron, a Silver Valley native, started his career with Ultra-Lawn in 1997 as a part of our mow crew.  Earning his applicators license in 2002; Ron has become one of our most versatile employees and a customer favorite.

You may see Ron spraying your lawn, aiding the mow crew or even providing labor for a landscape installation.  Around the shop, he serves as one of our mechanics and does most of our small engine repair. Ron and his wife, Jessica, have two children and reside in Spirit Lake.

Cory Trott – Spray Technician 2; Pruning Technician

Joined the team: Spring 2012

Cory Trott rejoined the Ultra-Lawn team in the fall of 2014 after a brief hiatus. Originally hired during the spring of 2012, Cory brought with him more than 7 years of hands-on experience as an applicator and mow crew laborer.  Cory is also well versed in landscape installation and looks forward to serving our customers again on many levels.  Married with two children, Cory & his wife Nicole reside in Spirit Lake.

Alex Gibson – Landscape Supervisor

Joined the team: January 2013

Alex officially joined the Ultra-Lawn team in January 2013 as a part of the “snow shovel” crew, has been a mow technician, and is now a landscape supervisor. For several summers, Alex has worked as a laborer on both the landscape and mow crews.

During high school, Alex was a student athlete as a member of both the varsity basketball team and the varsity football team; earning the Inland Empire League “Defensive Lineman of the Year” award twice. Since graduating with honors from Post Falls High School, Alex spent his freshman year of college at The University of Puget Sound where he was a member of the football team and carried a 4.0 GPA.  After transferring to the University of Idaho for his Sophomore year, he has been working on a triple major in Philosophy, Psychology and Political Science with plans to attend law school and continues to hold a 4.0 GPA. Alex also holds many leadership positions at school, including serving as President of Sigma Nu Fraternity, Treasurer of the International Philosophy Honors Society (Phi Sigma Tau), Vice President of the Pre-Law Society, and as a member of Legislative Ambassadors.  Alex enjoys working on his 1973 Chevy pick-up and is the son of David and Linda Gibson.


Julian Ramirez – Mow Technician

Joined the team: Spring 2019

Julian Ramirez literally grew up in the “green industry”, working in it since age 12, and only recently relocated to Idaho.  For the past 10-years, his father has owned a landscaping company in Oregon and Julian faithfully worked each summer to learn the business.  Working hard, paying attention to detail, and taking great pride in a job well-done is credited to his dad, along with his enjoyment of the work.  Julian in a 2017 graduate of Aloha High School, in Aloha Oregon, where he was awarded the seal of biliteracy.  Currently residing in Post Falls, Julian enjoys playing with “big boy toys”, including bikes, cars, and guns. 


Jeffrey Hart – Sprinkler Technician 

Joined the team: Spring 2019

Jeffrey “Jeff” Hart joined the Ultra-Lawn team in the spring of 2019 as a part of our mow crew.  Jeff is an avid hunter and fisherman and also enjoys ATV riding and mud bogging.  Jeff resides in Athol with his wife and child.


Jared Walker – Mow Technician 

Joined the team: Spring 2019

Ultra-Lawn proudly welcomed Jared Walker to the team in May 2019 as a part of our maintenance division. The entire Walker family are long -time friends of David and Linda, who are extremely proud of Jared’s accomplishments and are excited to help him earn money for college. As a two-time state wrestling champ, Jared knows the value of hard-work and endurance, and will certainly bring that work ethic to serve our valued customers. A proud graduate of Lakeland High School, and a North Idaho Native, Jared is a Division 1 wrestler for the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga, and also enjoys hunting and fishing in his spare time. During the summer, Jared resides at his family home on Twin Lakes and returns to his apartment in Chattanooga when school is in session.


Camden Felton  – Mow Technician 1; Spray Technician (Intern)

Joined the team: Spring 2018

Camden joined the Ultra-Lawn team in the spring of 2018, as a member of our mow crew. This proud North Idaho native was born in Coeur d’Alene and is eager to please. He enjoys being outside and in his free time plays as many games of pick up basketball as he can find. He also is an online gamer and an avid fan of many sports. Camden currently resides in Post Falls.

Jake Perez – Mow Technician

Joined the team: Spring 2019

North Idaho native Jake Perez joined the Ultra-Lawn team during the spring season 2019 as a part of our mow crew. Although he was raised in Bonner’s Ferry, he relocated to the Coeur d’ Alene/Post Falls area to find work and to learn a trade. Jake resides in Coeur d’ Alene and enjoys essentially everything that gets him outside, especially camping, fishing, and kayaking, as well as hanging out with his family and close friends.

Cody Hallsted – Mow Technician 

Joined the team: Spring 2019

Post Falls native, Cody Hallsted, joined the Ultra-Lawn team in the spring of 2019 as a part of our mow crew. He is a graduate of New Vision High School and is currently enrolled in the Network Security Program at North Idaho College. After graduation, Cody hopes to pursue a career in the IT industry, although he doesn’t know what his “dream job” is just yet. Cody enjoys video games, playing the guitar, and working on his 1979 Chevy El Camino, which he will probably tell you he put the engine in himself. 

Aaron Schell- Mow Technician

Joined the team: May 2019

2019 University of Utah graduate, Aaron Schell joined the Ultra-Lawn team just after graduation in May 2019 as a part of our mow crew. Majoring in English, Aaron has not decided tje nest way to put the shiny new degree to work, but he loves the Pacific Northwest so much he decided to return to his roots and roll up his sleeves. Originally from Burley (Idaho), and likely because of playing on the Snake River, Aaron loves everything about the outdoors and looks forward to playing in the North Idaho backwoods. Aaron is married and resides in Post Falls.

Aundi Star – Crew Scheduler

Joined the team: July 2019

Aundi joined the team in July 2019 as our crew scheduler. She’s originally from Mojave Desert, but moved to Post Falls in 1996. She fell in love with the gorgeous landscape and terrain here in the Great Northwest. She will be on the other end of the phone when you call in, and she is excited to assist you with all your lawn care needs. Aundi is a huge supporter of many non-profit organizations locally and loves to network. 

Luke Palmer– Mow Technician

Joined the team: Summer 2019

Luke joined Ultra-Lawn as a mow technician during the summer of 2019 and he is no stranger to hard work, or challenging himself.  Luke recently completed a 12-year Boy Scout career by achieving the rank of Eagle Scout, and he continues to volunteer with Boy Scouts as well as serving as a middle school youth leader for Real Life Ministries.  A lifelong outdoor enthusiast, Luke spent much of his younger days backpacking, kayaking, and rock climbing, but now his focus is on flying.  Currently attending flight school in Spokane, Luke is on track to complete his A&P and commercial pilot’s license.  He intends to take his training as a pilot, the love of the outdoors, and his connections with youth to an “international mission organization” and to assist people in need through humanitarian aid.  Luke resides with his family in Post Falls.

Nathan Salzer – Mow Technician

Joined the team: Summer 2019

Nathan Salzer graduated, with honors, from Post Falls High School in 2019 and will be attending the University of Idaho, where he plans to major in engineering.  We are so excited for Nathan’s very bright future and welcome him to the Ultra-Lawn team to help finance his dream.  Nathan will likely be seen with our mow crews however, he may also provide support to our sprinkler division this season.  Prior to Ultra-Lawn, Nathan worked as a camp counselor for the City of Post Falls-Park & Recreation’s “Kamp Ka-Mee-Lin” for many summers.  He enjoys playing the saxophone, video games and hanging out with his girlfriend.  Although born in Nevada, Nathan has lived his entire life in Post Falls and currently resides with his mom and brother.       

Stephen Read– Mow Technician

Joined the team: Spring 2019

With experience in all areas of the “green industry”, Stephen Read brings a wealth of knowledge and understanding to the Ultra-Lawn mow crew.  Prior to joining the Ultra-Lawn team in the spring of 2019, Stephen worked for Cutting Edge, M&M Tree Service, and Senske Services, all in the Boise/Meridian area.  Always striving for perfection in every aspect, Stephen looks forward to earning your trust this season.  Originally from California, Stephen has spent the last several years in Tennessee and the Boise area, respectively, and relocated to the Post Falls area in the fall of 2018.   He enjoys fixing and racing cars, video games, and raising his daughter.

Michael Lamphiear  – Mow Technician

Joined the team: Spring 2019

Ultra-Lawn welcomed Michael Lamphiear to the team in the spring of 2019 as a part of our Mow Crew, however Michael has aspirations to become a Spray Technician as soon as the opportunity arises.  Because he is hard-working, and enjoys breaking a good sweat, we know he will provide Ultra-Lawn customers with the very best quality and customer service regardless of the division he is in.  Michael enjoys a good laugh, is passionate about family, enjoys good food (both cooking & eating), and is a Philadelphia Eagles fan.  Michael and his wife reside in Post Falls with their energetic 2-year old.

Kami Root  – Office Assistant

Joined the team: Spring 2019

Kami, a Junior at the Washington State University studying international business and marketing, joined the Ultra-Lawn team as a summer intern and hopes to gain valuable experience for her future endeavors.  Kami was born and raised in Coeur d’Alene and loves to run and hike with her mom and sister.  Currently residing with her family, Kami will return to Pullman in August and to Delta Gamma sorority.
